How did the collaboration with Dondup come up? In what way do you think your songs inspired Manuela Mariotti and the Dondup collection?
I think I got a mail from Manu. I saw her work, and was curious to meet her. Once we met it was obvious we wanted to do something together. She told me that my music was the soundtrack for her days of designing that line. Music has a way of being interpreted and molded into emotions and actions. That's the magic of it.
How did you become so fascinated with rock and American folk?
My parents lived for a long while in New York during the 70's... They had an amazing record collection of rock, folk, blues and jazz.
How about your voice? when and how did you realize you could use it as a form of art?
About six years ago I was an animator with no musical background or inspiration. I was going through a rough breakup and a broken heart, and I found that vocalizing my feelings with music , helped me understand myself better. The voice came as a result of all the hidden emotions and thoughts that needed to come out with all the pain of what I was going through.
How much of Israel  is in your music and the way you perform, I mean has the complexity of the middle east situation influenced you, if yes how?
None at all... I write about universals subjects like death, love and hope... You don't need a specific passport to understand them. I'm an artist from Israel. Not an Israeli artist.
Are there any talented Israeli fashion designers that you know and would like to mention?
There is David Sassoon, an amazingly talented and humble designer , and his stylist Edward El Camino. About 80% of my wardrobe is David's.  He has a simplicity and elegance, and a knack for designing for skinny guys. You should definitely check him out.
Fashion is more and more attracted by rock and roll at its wildest: what do you think of fashion?
I think fashion is hooked on a small cliche of rock and roll... And I think people are starting to mix up music with external accessories . Music is a deep and profound art form with more meaning than some mouse in your hair or a cool tshirt. I think if fashion designers respect the complexity of musicians , than it can be a very strong connection. Much like music and videos.
What is the favourite item in your wardrobe? what do you pack in your suitcase?I have two sets of leather suspenders that I wear for every show.
Where do you leave and work today and where do you see yourself in the future?I have an apartment in tel aviv near the beach and that is where all my belongings are. But to call that my home is weird, because most of the time I'm on the tour bus or in hotels. I'm a traveling circus now. I hope I can buy a nice old house in Italy and renovate it... With some horses and grape vines and some olive trees.
What about social networks? are you on any?
I operate my facebook page and that's enough for me.
Future projects?
Touring till the end of the year... then take some time off to sit in front of the sea.

The Gaga Gate continues

Today I continue to talk about the case that I found out about Lady Gaga .... I searched a bit around and found this nice little article published on Vogue.it :

Today I post a disconcerting news! it's of two months ago but I've  discovered it only now ..... it seems that
Lady Gaga has been sued by Jennifer O’Neill, former assistant (or, as Gaga herself made clear, “my best friend since she was 19 years old”), that asked for a 380.000 dollars compensation for the 7000 hours of overtime work. “I was with her almost 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This includes sleeping in the same bed with her. Because she doesn’t sleep alone”. In bed together? Yes, but without sex, obviously. It seems that the assistant has been only asked for a bit of company (this could be explained with the relationship that existed between the two ex friends), that was nonetheless lived as a forcing, that could be accepted only if adequately paid.
You know that ? How did it go?
If anyone knows anything about that write! We are curious to know how the story ended!

World Water Day

Hello to all!
I just returned from a weekend in Urbino where I had a great time! Because of my absence, I could not write a post two days ago on World Water Day.
That environmental sustainability is an issue that is close to my heart,because scarcity of water in some parts of the world means death !
Many celebrities have given their face as testimonial for this occasion, too. Keira Knightely, Kelly Brook, Kimberly Stewart and Lily Cole posed as sirens for photographer Candice, founder of charity association Fresh2o, for the campaign "Celebrity Underwater", aiming at raising awareness on the scarceness of drinking water in the third world countries. The sales proceedings will be given to the projects of various associations.
I hope you with me you care about this cause and do your best to safeguard this increasingly scarce resource!

After the end of the shows continues my "trends of the season" ... today I decided to tell you about the skirt! 
I wrote this post after a week in which I watched all 6 series of Gossip Girl . Sober, elegant  and classy style of Blair Waldorf fascinate me so much ! Anyway....

Today we speak of a man in the spotlight!
A rapper ... very trendy and discussed ... A $ ASP Rocky!
Have a duet with Rihanna and Lana Del Rey on his resume and a beating to a paparazzo make it a full-fledged VIP!  In an interview for L'uomo Vogue  the singer said about his first album LongLiveAsap :

“I used a very unorthodox approach in my first CD Live.Love.A$AP. I had a very clear vision of what I wanted to produce. At the same time, I felt the need to show everyone what I could do. Therefore, everything – from the choice of beats to the lyrics – was all my own doing and fully represented me. Yet for my second album, I felt I needed to expand my horizons and to involve more people, while maintaining my personality. That’s why you can find tracks like Hell or PMW, which are an evolution of what I did on my previous album, besides new material like the song with Skrillex. Repeating myself would have been a waste of time for me and my listener”.
